The children in Year 3 enjoyed a stunning start to their new topic with a visit to Sevenoaks Park. All children made the most of the fantastic weather and enjoyed observational sketches of the landscape, a Science hunt and an English senses activity. All these activities will assist their work across the curriculum this term.
Year 2 enjoyed a fabulous finale to their Australia Day with a visit from a bearded dragon called Zig-Zag! We'd like to say a big thank you to Gemma Mansell for taking time out of her day to share Zig-Zag with us - it was a great end to what was a wonderful day!
On Wednesday afternoon, two of our KS2 children represented the school with flying colours in the South Downs Area New Age Curling Tournament held at Shinewater Sports Centre. The boys soon took to the task ahead, they quickly worked out their tactics, performed brilliantly throughout and out of 14 teams won the overall tournament. Their reaction at the presentations was a sight to behold. Very well done boys. The Winter Olympics in 2030 is a possibility!!
