The Langney Primary production this year was "Noble Norris" and we were treated to a two night bonanza of laughs, song and dance! The children were involved throughout - lighting, sound, backstage, set design and the performance itself. It was amazing. A big thank you to the staff and parents involved in supporting so well for many months.

A bright Summer day at Langney saw 30 lucky children enjoy the great outdoors with Ryan from the Sussex Wildlife Trust. They hunted for bugs, attempted to net a butterfly (hilarious to watch) and created a marvellous Beetle Bank. There was digging, sawing and scattering of seeds taking place throughout the day and the end result was indeed a Ritz for beetles. We even saw our first beetle resident. Thank you Mrs Thompson!
Year 3 Ancient Egyptian Workshop What a fabulous experience it was to learn even more fascinating facts about the Ancient Egyptians through our year 3 hands on history workshop. We explored artefacts, learned about Ancient Egyptian life, dressed up, and played quizzes and games as well as plenty of fun and engaging activities. We even learned how to decode hieroglyphics, made a huge historical timeline across the entire sports hall and watched a mummification!

The pupils learnt how to use a hand and scroll saw safely to make the surround for a personalised clock. One of the Shedders, as they are known, said it was the best afternoon he has had in a long time and our pupils were excellent at listening to instructions and working alongside their adult as they shared their experience and ideas.
