On our last family cooking session this term, our groups made Vegetable Chow Mein. We used loads of fresh vegetables, and practised our safe chopping and frying techniques. We all tasted some foods that we hadn't had before. Do you know where water chestnuts grow? We all went home to check!
This was a great group to work with and we tried lots of different recipes that we hadn't made at home.
