Our MP talks Careers & Equality

We were so glad to welcome Caroline Ansell, our very own MP to Langney today. After a quick tour of the school, Caroline met with some of our students leaders. These included School Council members, Wellbeing Warriors and newly appointed Art Ambassadors.

The children loved hearing about Caroline's story to becoming Eastbourne's first female MP and we hoped that the next female MP would come from Langney! We spoke around the skills needed as a leader and how developing confidence and learning from our failures is all part of the process.

Children all dressed up as possible career interests across our school today. Pictured we have a chef, an author and a zoo keeper!!

We look forward to visiting Westminster later on in the year. Thank you Caroline for your views and advice that the children found very inspiring.
