Year 2 'Sunflower Day'

As part of Year 2's 'Stunning Start' to their Term 6 topic, children came into school dressed in all things yellow for a fabulous 'Sunflower Day'.

As the Year 2 topic this term is 'Vincent Van Grow' the children looked at the artist's famous sunflower painting and recreated their own. They were fantastic; we certainly have lots of future Van Goghs here at Langney!

The children also created some amazing sunflower poems and staff were blown away with the children's use of poetic features. What a fantastic start to a very exciting last term in Year 2!
