ESFA 7-a-side Cup Runners Up

November 11, 2018

Our football team competed in their first tournament and games of the year at Ocklynge School on Saturday.

The event was well attended and schools were split into two groups. Thankfully the rain kept off.

Langney topped their group unbeaten with 18 goals scored and no goals conceded and went into the semi final against Stone Cross as favourites to progress into the final. They did not disappoint, with a scintillating attacking team performance they won 3-0 to play Ocklynge. It was one game too many and unfortunately for the boys and parents supporting, Langney lost 2 -0.

The boys have firmly laid down a marker for this years Eastbourne Primary Schools campaign as one of the teams to beat .

Mr Field is extremely proud of the 7 boys that competed on Saturday and excited for this upcoming Football season.
