MUD FOR IT!!

Eastbourne Area Cross Country Championships is meant to be a tough event. It is a mental as well as a physical challenge. This was no exception.

2 laps (approx 1.5 miles) of Hampden Park in the mud is no easy task.

There was a separate race for the girls and boys with the first 15 being elected to represent Eastbourne Schools early next year. For quite a few of the children selected it was their very first time in representing the school in a sporting competition.

Both teams completed the course with notable performances from Evie (31st) and Jensen (9th).

Mr Field and Mrs Young were immensely proud of them all, what shone through was the team(s) togetherness, camaraderie and determination to do their very best for the school team.
