Fossils in Year 1!

Year 1 have been learning about Mary Anning, an English fossil collector and palaeontologist who became known around the world for important finds she made in Jurassic marine fossil beds in the cliffs along the English Channel.

The children filled their marble jar recently and wanted their treat to involve making fossils! Here are some of their creations from the treat afternoon, where they chose to carry on their engaging learning!
