Stormy skies set a dramatic scene for Year 2's trip to Battle Abbey today. The Saxons locked their shields as the Norman army stormed towards them in our exhilarating reenactment of the battle. We also saw some actual armour and replica weapons from 1066. We even ate lunch in the Norman ruins. What an epic day but boy, will we sleep tonight! Miss Rae & the Year 2 team.
Four Langney Primary children and Mr Field attended Hailsham Community College on Wednesday for Sports Crew Training. The afternoon was for the children to be trained to help our school to develop PE and sport by organising , managing and officiating "intra and inter" school events. New activities were planned by the Sports Crew as they learned and developed their own leadership skills. Our sporting role models will be announced in assembly very soon!!
Look at our Langney Primary Mini Mudders!!! Our children were absolutely PHENOMENAL today. They fully embraced the Mudder pledge - they helped their friends (and children they’ve never met before), all along the course and they completely covered themselves in mud! They even went one step further and covered me in mud during a group hug as a thank you!
The parents were also wonderful, really encouraging the children to get stuck in. A big thank you to Mr Field, Mrs Neale and
We are thrilled to unveil the team of School Council representatives. Every child applied and was democratically voted in by their class. These student leaders will help shape Langney Primary School's exciting future.
