On Friday 21st June we participated in our annual Race for Life event. This year it was very personal to us at Langney as we were all running in support of our dear friend and Sports Coach, Mr Field. You only had to read the messages to see how much love and support he had from all of the staff and children. Recently, we hosted a History Scholars Day as part of our Swale partnership. We were very lucky to have the expertise of two members of the Royal Sussex Regimental Trust and Nelson's grandson also came to see what we had bee
On Thursday, children across the school worked all day on Mental Health and Wellbeing learning. We thought about emotions, making calm cards, thinking about what is important to us and the "Only One You Rocks". There was much mindfulness and some amazing calmness!

Hot topics for discussion with the School Council and Mr Poston were aspirations, leadership, democracy and even Brexit!!!! Funky Friday assembly today was emotional and amazing. Kobe in Year 6 Les Miserables class was presented with the top award at Langney - the OSCAR! Well, after a long wait, we finally got to see the Daks fly over the school on Wednesday! Only a handful of Twilighters were still at school to see them but they were very excited! If you have any photos of pupils watching the planes, please do send them into us - email@example.com. We would love to use them as part of a video we will be compiling about the event for our Remembrance Service in November.
We have never seen the bike shed so packed!! Well done everyone that cycled and scooted into School today. This represents our full commitment to our new motto "Active Body, Healthy Mind". We hope you enjoyed your healthy snack!
