History SWALE Scholars!

Recently, we hosted a History Scholars Day as part of our Swale partnership. The pupils looked at a variety of sources and artefacts relating to the life of Nelson Carter VC in order to build a museum dedicated to his story. Parents were invited at the end of the day and were shown round the museum by knowledgeable ''tour guides'.

We were very lucky to have the expertise of two members of the Royal Sussex Regimental Trust and Nelson's grandson also came to see what we had been getting up to.
