Y1 Visit To Local Church

In Religious Education, Year 1 have been learning about Christianity and the role of the church. On Tuesday the 3rd of May pupils and teachers walked to our very own local church, The Church of St. Richards.

Rev. Merriel Woodard welcomed the children and talked about what happens in a church. The children explored inside and learned about stained glass windows, Christian celebrations and special events that happen in a church.
