Year 4 Take Part in Eastbourne Carnival
Year 4's topic this term is "Come to the Carnival" and that is precisely what 14 pupils did on Saturday. Decked out in bright coloured t-shirts and Union Jack hats, our children picked up their tambours and shakers and joined Bishop Bell and the Music Service "Samba Band."
What an amazing experience, playing alongside the older children. After waiting patiently at the Meads end of the King Edwards Parade, The Samba Band struck a tune and didn't stop for the next hour and a half. Our children were amazing and the sound of the band kept everyone along the seafront entertained. You couldn't help but tap your feet or "shake your tail feather."
Huge thumbs up for everyone who took part including all the parents who walked with us and thanks to Mr Woozley for inviting us. May need to start training now for next year....it's a long walk to Princes Park!
Well Done Langney, such fun!
