Wow what wonderful musicians we have!

To conclude our topic 'The Paperbag Prince', Year 4 were fortunate enough to spend the day with Daniel Gilmore from Sussex Music Workshops. Linked to our learning about recycling the children used various 'junk' like objects to create various beats. Adults were blown away by the children's enthusiasm and musical talents and how well they worked together sharing ideas and composing individual sections.

In the afternoon, after one last rehearsal, the children preformed to a large audience. They were all outstanding, it was as if the children had been practicing for days! A big thank you to Sussex Music Workshops for a super enjoyable day and to our wonderful audience, some of which couldn't resist having a go themselves!
