STEM Future Leaders Here at Langney Primary
On Thursday 20th April, 7 children from KS2 attended the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) Leaders Conference at the Birley Centre in Eastbourne. These children blew their teachers away with a recent home learning S
cience project. They had been asked to design a solution to housing/farming problems brought about by flooding in Bangladesh. They all came up with fantastic, well thought-out ideas which they demonstrated through detailed posters and 3D models.
At the conference, they presented these ideas to approximately 100 other children from schools around Eastbourne, as well as listening to the other children present their ideas. Miss Rae and Miss Curtis, our Science Co-ordinators, were so proud how well they did. They were a real credit to Langney School.
