Dream Country's Tasty Take-In

Who doesn't love a tasty take-away? Well, Year 4 have been focusing on healthy alternatives to tasty takeaways that can be made easily at home. On Wednesday 11th of October children worked extremely hard chopping, slicing, peeling and cooking lots of vegetables all ready for our special guests to come and try their very own Chinese 'Take-In'.

Children were so excited to dish up their tasty treat to parents, carers and other family members. It was great to see children (and some adventurous parents) have a go at using chopsticks! After showing their culinary delights pupils were keen to share their fantastic writing from this term.

I have to say the class excelled themselves, they worked beautifully in their teams taking on and sharing out different roles. Their Tasty Take-In went down a treat with many empty plates leaving the kitchen, even Mr Bowles managed to grab a plate!
