Eastbourne Schools Cross Country Championships

On a dull and breezy afternoon this week, nine boys represented the school at the Cross Country Championships held in Hampden Park.

Thirteen schools took part (120 runners), with the aim to complete two laps of a muddy course with an overall distance of of two miles.

The boys excelled, with notable performances from Tayo who finished an amazing 2nd and Oliver who last year came 89th but this year with experience behind him finished the race in 14th.

Both boys go on to represent Eastbourne Schools in January in the South Downs Area Finals.

Mr Field and Mrs Young are very proud of the boys that took part and this shows their commitment and attitude to improve every week in their cross country club.
