Langney Choir in tune

Our super choir have been in high demand this term and have represented the school so well. They started December by taking part in the Big Sing organised by East Sussex Music Service in collaboration with Glyndebourne. The event took place at the Kings Centre and was led by Lee Reynolds the Music Director at Glyndebourne Youth Opera.

In the same week, the choir took part in a 'Carolathon' at Langney Shopping Centre in aid of the Demelza Hospice. The children sang their hearts out and helped to collect money for this great cause! Finally, the children were delighted to be invited to sing carols for the residents at the Tweed Care Home in Eastbourne. The residents thoroughly enjoyed it and even sang along with us- spreading Christmas cheer!

All of the children have worked exceptionally hard to learn and perfect the songs for the Big Sing and the Carol events- we are immensely proud of them!
