Langney 100% Win Record

Our boys football team kept up their 100% winning record on Friday with a hard fought 2-1 victory away at Heron Park in the league.

We conceded a goal within 30 seconds of the start of the match, but to the boys credit that did phase them as they took control of the game. We carved out numerous goal scoring opportunities and levelled before half time through Tobi. We continued to dominate possession in the second half with Ronnie scoring the winner through a good turn and accomplished finish low to the keepers right.

The result means Langney have progressed to the semi final of the Eastbourne Primary Schools League format, as well as the Collings Cup semi final. We are due to play Ocklynge, who beat us in the two finals last season.
