Last Day at Camp!
Well our final day at camp has been the wettest, but in true Langney style we haven’t let it spoilt our day! We’ve continued all our activities, including canoeing, zip wire and gladiator challenges. We then had a whole school activity together doing rock climbing. After dinner (which included chocolate cake!) we had an indoor campfire - with songs and games! It was really nice to see some familiar faces when Miss Crane and Mrs Rodemark kindly visited us, who also got fully involved in ‘Bongaloo’ and crazy dancing! A particular highlight was a game where we had to put 33 items on the back of Harley and Mr Lynch’s backs - who were both laying down with their eyes closed. After quickly getting Harley up, we then completely covered Mr Lynch’s back with some, erm... less desirable items! Mr Lynch was supposed to guess when we had reached item 33 (which was a good three minutes before we finished putting objects on his back!) but as he didn’t say anything, we all ran out of the gazebo and left him laying down talking to himself whilst we all hid! Today we’ve also celebrated our second camp birthday of the week as Taylor turned 11. Big thank you to his Mum who had been super organised and brought a HUGE chocolate cake in for us all! Taylor described his birthday at 4D saying, ‘Camp has been so fun!! Miss Crane and Mrs Rodemark were there for the games and... #Bethisthebest’! For everyone not with us at camp who haven’t yet met Beth, she is our INCREDIBLE camp organiser who has looked after us all (adults and children)!
