Remembrance Tea

On Monday we were the hosts for a very special Remembrance Tea. There was a performance titled, The Torch: We Hold It High, during which the children demonstrated to a soldier just returned from the war the reasons why we remember through song, dance and readings.

Also shown was the music video for the song, Devil's Dyke, by local band, Hatful of Rain. We recently collaborated on this video and so it shows some of our artwork. The song is about a soldier who went to war and was lost at the battle of Boar's Head in 1916.

Visitors included local veterans and parents of the pupils who were performing. All were treated to cake and cups of tea.
