Beach School

We would like to say a huge well done to our school nursery, Bright Sparks.

Bright Sparks has been involved in the Healthy Active Little Ones (HALO) project for the last three years. This project aims to support children and families to lead healthy lifestyles. The nursery has received £13,000 in funding which has been used for resources, staff training and to fund cooking and physical activity projects.

Last year the nursery achieved an Outstanding Award from the Children's Food Trust. Yesterday, the nursery was further rewarded as they showcased their Learning at the Beach project at a conference attended by over 100 staff from nurseries across East Sussex. This achievement is only possible through the hard work and dedication of our superb staff and team of volunteers, along with our amazing children and families.

Our beach sessions for EYFS children start again after the holiday, please watch this space for updates.
