Democracy, Mutual Respect, Equality and Connecting with Others were discussed this morning in assembly as Parliament Week was kicked off at Langney.
School Council members have been split into four groups -
Hedgehog Party
Bee Party
Garden Bird Party
Butterfly Party
They all presented their manifesto that has spearheaded their campaign to save their animal. Speeches were full of passion and now every child will vote for the party and animal that is most important to them and their values.
There were gasps as it was revealed that up until recent times, women have not been able to vote!!!!
Well done to the School Council. I think we could sort Brexit!!
