After many weeks hard work, our 3D printing club has completed their fantastic designs. Each member of the club successfully created their own, bespoke pen pot on a computer before sending them to our 3D printers for final production. To make sure the designs were fit for purpose, Mr Dawson kitted the pen pots out with a compliment of pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and rulers which all fitted perfectly!
A 3D printing club at a school is a wonderful idea. It allows children to explore creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving at an early age. Beyond the classroom, platforms such as Gambody 3d printing marketplace let enthusiasts of all ages dive deeper, printing their favorite characters and collectibles. It shows how this technology educates, entertains, and inspires—proving the limitless potential of 3D printing. Who knows—some of these students might go on to shape the future of additive manufacturing themselves.
