LPA & The Queen's Green Canopy

On Thursday 23 September 2021, Mr Bowles attended "The Queen's Green Canopy" reception to represent Langney Primary Academy. To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year there are many projects being launched in the UK encouraging sustainable living, connecting with nature and planting lots of trees.

Dr William Bird MBE, the founder of Beat the Street, presented the winner certificate to us and we spoke about the positive impact on our Langney community and our wellbeing.

Sir Tim Smit, founder of the Eden Project, spoke passionately about the amzing opportunities for Eastbourne with our beautiful South Downs, seafront and marsh flatlands.

Now for the future!! This school year our very own Langney children will be helping to shape and contribute to a very new exciting project for our town!! The Eastbourne Eden Project is being born and we will play a full part in it!!!
