Save our Animals!
Year 3 celebrated their end of their topic ‘The Last Wolf’ with an endangered animals day. The children were invited to dress up as an endangered animal and were fortunate to hear from Dr Susan Cheyne who is a co-director for the Borneo Nature Foundation. The children listened to the importance of saving these animals and explore Borneo. The children then raised money to adopt an endangered animal to raise awareness, as a year group we chose to adopt a panda! Finally, the children went on a nature trail, made animal habitats from recycled items, made animal arts and crafts and watched clips of Greta Thunberg’s speeches about climate change and David Attenborough’s Blue Planet and Our Planet.
