Sports Hall Athletics 2019

SOUTH DOWNS AREA SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS

A team of 9 boys and 9 girls from Years 5/6 took part in Track and Field events held at Hailsham Community College on Wednesday afternoon .

The event involved 16 schools from the South Downs Area and consisted of obstacle course, 1 lap, 2 Lap, 6 Lap relays along with long jump, triple jump, vertical jump chest push, javelin and speed bounces.

Langney came a respectable 6th overall. Team camaraderie shone throughout the afternoon with children cheering each other on. Mr Field was very impressed with their attitude and willingness to do their best representing the school. Special mention goes to the parents who took their child to and from the event and Miss Purcell who assisted Mr Field at the event.
