Year 1 Poppy Learning

Year 1 have enjoyed lots of Remembrance activities this week and were very lucky to have a visit from expert historian Miss Pollard to learn all about our Eastbourne fallen soldier Nelson Victor Carter VC.

We learnt about why we wear poppies and enjoyed getting creative making poppies as a large group and also individual ones for us to wear with pride.
