Year 6 Clay Making
Year 6 children enlisted the help of their unsuspecting parents to support them with making their own Fire of London sculptures! To celebrate a term of learning about the Great Plague and how the Fire of London engulfed the city, the children designed their own memorial sculptures, based on the London monument. The children invited their special guests in to support their clay making - which soon turned into quite a competitive competition for the most detailed design! A huge thanks to everybody who came and got involved in our fabulous finish - we promise to try and make sure that the next one is less messy!
