Green Team Tree Project

Term 4 has seen the "Green Team Science Student Leaders" work on a new project to plant trees and brighten up the outside areas of the school. A company called CD Automation, in partnership with Carbon Footprint, sent us a list of trees to choose from, which they would then send us free of charge.

The children chose Willow trees, as well as Dogwood trees, to plant around the picnic benches on the field and along the back fence adjoining to St. Catherine's School. The trees were then delivered and with a little help from Mr. Pickford and a couple of people from CD Automations, the trees were planted for all the school to enjoy.

The children are excited to see them grow!
