Olympic Challenge

Ten children from Year 5 were invited to participate in an Olympic themed decathlon event on Monday at St Andrews Prep School. On a hot day our children took part in Hockey, Fencing and a Cricket skill sessions in the morning.

After a much needed BBQ lunch our children were divided into 5 teams, (colours representing the 5 rings), and competed against one another in a Sporting Decathlon events ranging from Long Jump, High Jump to Hurdles and 200 metre races.

The children absolutely loved the day and what an opportunity to use amazing facilities and take part in such majestic surroundings.

The summer has truly arrived!
