Money Matters for Yr5!

Year 5 have enjoyed informative sessions with staff from Metro Bank. They have learnt about why it is important to keep your money safe in a bank, the benefits of saving and have even had a go at budgeting!

Bugsy class spent an exciting morning at the Metro Bank in Eastbourne where they learnt about the various jobs in a bank, how to check for counterfeit money and used the Magic Money Machine to count some change! The best part was going into the bank's vault where we were able to see the safety deposit boxes and where they keep the money- it was amazing! Joseph and Charlie classes are looking forward to their visits in the coming weeks.
