Bird Rescue!

We rescued a baby Green Tit yesterday! It was seen falling out of a tree at the back of the field at lunchtime by some of the Year 6s who then noticed that it didn't seem to be able to fly back. The bird appeared very disorientated so we gently picked it up and placed it in a box with a school jumper to keep warm. Sarah called East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and, later in the afternoon, Ellie and Katy arrived to take our new little feathered friend to their sanctuary. We will be checking on it's progress on Monday. Another example of our caring nature at Langney!
