Bonfire Night in Year 1

This week, Year 1 have been learning all about Bonfire night and the history of why we celebrate it. We have learned all about Guy Fawkes and today, celebrated Bonfire Night with a virtual firework display! We made the classroom dark and put on a video of an amazing Firework display. The best part was we all had a delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows and used our experience to write some amazing senses poems!
