Diwali Celebrations

Reception have had lots of fun learning about Diwali this week They explored a range of traditional Diwali activities, for example: making clay 'diya lights', using coloured salt to make 'rangoli patterns', drawing beautiful 'mehndi' henna designs and trying on special clothes. They also learnt all about the Diwali story of Rama and Sita and lots of children enjoyed acting this story out using puppets.
