Fairytale Fun in Year 1

Year 1 have enjoyed a wonderful term based on Fairytales! We have enjoyed listening to the stories, joining in with familiar rhymes and phrases, discussing the character problems in the stories and using the stories as a stimulus for writing and creativity.

To round off this amazing term of learning, we all enjoyed dressing up as a fairytale character. Our final fairytale of the term was The Three Little Pigs, therefore the children enjoyed tasks such as constructing a house that the wolf could not blow down, writing in the pig’s speech bubbles and making our own pig puppets!

We all loved dressing up and discussing our costumes with our friends.
