Respectful Remembrance 2021
On Thursday, we paid a respectful tribute to all members of the Armed Forces, past and present, during our Remembrance Service.
Readings were provided by our year 6 pupils and the nurture groups, while our choir sang a very poignant rendition of the Lowther's March. This song was sung by Nelson Victor Carter and his fellow soldiers during the First World War and, according to the Royal Sussex Regimental Association, has only been sung by us in the past one hundred years. Our dancers provided a WW2 themed celebration dance as a finale.
Special thanks must go to Rev. Weaver, of St. Richard's church, and Theo for playing the bugle.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Royal British Legion during our morning collections this week.
