Science Scholars!

Our Science Scholars were lucky enough to be invited to spend the day at Shinewater

School for a fun day of science.

Led by an extremely experienced Science teacher the children took part in 4 different experiments

throughout the day and learned how to carry out a fair test.

The children learnt:

How to identify and match a non-labelled food can to a labelled food can.

Weighing and measuring.

Which peg is best for hanging out your wet washing!

Hiding in a dark cupboard with torches led to discovering the best reflective material to wear in the

dark-very useful if you ride a bike or have an early morning paper round.

The most important experiment of the day - How to discover the ideal

material to use to make a tea bag and the best cup of tea as a result!!
