VR & AR in Science!

Year 6 got to the heart of the matter this week in Science with a Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experience.  To start with, the children wore augmented reality t-shirts which magically showed their rib cages, pumping heart and other vital organs. Mr Dawson and Mr Poston then gave the children the opportunity to view a 3 dimensional beating heart close up, including an exciting journey into the heart's valves and chambers!  There were many 'oohs' and 'aahs' throughout the session which was summed up beautifully by one pupil who said, "That was absolutely amazing!  It was real Science!"
