Space Mufti Day

Celebrating British Astronaut Tim Peake's safe journey back to Earth, today the children dressed in Space Mufti. We learned about Tim Peake and saw videos of his six months on the International Space Station, including the awe and wonder of our beautiful planet from space. We also watched a video of Tim Peake's safe landing back on Earth.

We related Tim Peake and his astronaut experience to our school values of aspiration, appreciation and positivity.

The next generation of astronauts will likely explore the planet of Mars. That future astronaut could be one of our very own Langney pupils!
