Orienteering WINNERS!

On a damp, cold and breezy Monday morning a number of Year 6 children attended the South East Schools Orienteering Festival in Gildredge Park.

The festival was run by University of Brighton Year 2 PE QTS and PE students.

All the children had a fantastic time navigating their way round the park using only a map , letters and numbers to assist them. Nobody got lost!

The event culminated in a timed challenge against all the other schools, using an electronic scoring system. Langney displayed brilliant teamwork and map reading skills, not forgetting speedy leg work which resulted in 1st place overall. An awesome achievement.
